For us newbie’s to the idea of taking on something like Mishigami. Can you make a post about your method and tools you use to plan and organize your multiple potential stopping points each day and how you identify all your potential stop/refueling points along the way? Your posts thus far have been very helpful.
Sounds good! Might be later this spring, but I’ll definitely add it to the agenda.
The SUPER short version: I make a route notecard that tells me what towns, even specific restaurants/gas stations I’ll pass through at +/-70km intervals. That way I know where I’ll be able to resupply if I need to, and where I must resupply before I pass into a more rural section of the course. Roughly the same for sleep spots - estimate my first night and then record my options at intervals from there.
I’ll pull in some examples when o write about it in more detail.
Tim.
